“Looks clear” is not an acceptance condition. These uses need a pane key, reader position, background views, and quoted layer decision:
Mark each glass area on a customer-supplied elevation or photo, add measured dimensions, and record the exterior or interior reader plus the requested application face.
Identify intended clear space, printed content, requested white or contrast support, cut path, and clear margin without assuming any layer is available.
Check direction, pane fit, visual hierarchy, show-through, edge geometry, and representative light and background views; record any acceptance limits explicitly.
Release only the confirmed film, layers, construction, quantity, schedule, preparation, installation, care, and removal responsibility for the keyed panes.
Reader side identifies where the intended audience stands; application side identifies which face of the pane receives the decal. Record both. An outside reader may see an inside-applied graphic through glass, subject to the quoted system and reviewed pane.
No invisible-film result is promised. Edges, adhesive appearance, printed layers, glass tint, reflections, surface condition, background, and light can remain apparent. Approve the intended level of transparency against the documented context.
No. Mark where additional support is desired, then rely on the quote and proof to confirm whether a white or other contrast treatment is available and how it will be used. Do not build approval around an unquoted layer.
State the reader and application sides instead of altering the source by guesswork. The production proof should show the final reading direction and layer order for the quoted construction before approval.
Supply views from both sides under relevant conditions and identify the most important reading moment. In a hypothetical café pane, pale lettering might cross a bright interior wall by day and a dark room at night; both views deserve review.
